My day began with being woken up to my perants telling me my bird had died. I was upset by this, but i didn't let it get in my way, i was looking forword to seeing Mastodon for the second time. When I first saw them supporting Metallica on the 8th of July 2007, I was astonished, it was the first time I had heard them properly, and they blew my mind. As soon as me and my freind found out about it we waited untill the tickets came out and bought them. Then we waited untill the day. On the saterday, as soon as i was ready my perants took us down to Manchester. We arrived there at about half 2 and we stood outside, hoping to meet the band. We only manged to meet Troy, but that was enouth, and he signd our albums, which made us happy. Then we had the lengthly wait untill the doors opend, and as soon as they did, we where straight in there, as we where first in the que. After buying our T-shirts, we whent and stood right at the frount. It was an eventful day which we both enjoyed. The support bands where amasing, but Mastodon where unbelivealbe. They played a grate set, but unfortinutly they did not play "Blood and thunder" which me and my freind where looking forward to. Non the less it was still a grate gig, one of the best I have ever been to.

I was hooked, becoming a true disciple of the 'Mastodon performing live' phenomenon. 24hrs later I destroyed my neck again, this time in Glasgow. I was left breathless, yet again, wanting more.
