Umm... I purposely didn't look at this list until now, after I just saw the show in Orlando and I couldn;t have asked for a better setlist. I saw the Crack The Skye tour, so I'm good on that album. My brain exploded when they busted out Capillarian Crest, Megalodon, and literally ALL of my current faves from The Hunter. Simple point: You people complaining are insane.

I was incredibly fortunate to see Mastodon live at their first UK tour after Crack the Skye release, epic show and to this day one of the best concert experiences I've ever had. Can't wait to see these broos in NY, as much as I would have loved Stargasm and This Mortal Soil on the set, THERE ARE NO BAD MASTODON SONGS, only other awesome songs. Safe.

Personally I think Megalodon is one of the worst songs Mastodon has every written besides most songs on remission and Blasteroid. They should play more Crack songs considering that was THEIR BEST ALBUM. It also seems like most fans want them to play Stargasm, The Octopus Has No Friends, and Oblivion so why don't they play those? It would be kick ass to hear Hearts Alive or This Mortal Soil. Also anything on The Hunter (including The Ruiner and Deathbound) besides Blasteroid would be good. O'le Nessie and Seabeast would be cool too as well as anything else on Crack the Skye and I would definatley jizz my pants if they played Shadows that Move or Call of the Mastodon.

So I saw them last night, and they rocked. Red Fang was fun, Dilinger was high on energy, and of course Mastodon delivered a great night. The set list was more than what I could hope for and even my girlfriend (who has arthritis) was moshing. It was fun! If you're planning on seeing them this tour, have fun!

That's funny, because I'm VERY HAPPY that they're playing Capillarian AND Megalodon. The only one missing for me is Divinations but I understand if they don't want to play a whole lot off of Crack the Skye since they did the full album on their last tour(s). Which was fantastic, by the way. So, I'm loving this choice of songs.

To kerry.king.is.satan: Yeah I gotta say I agree with a lot of the points you made... Black Tongue followed by Crystal Skull would be an epic openner. It is a good set list though there are a few things I would maybe like to see changed. Capillarian Crest is a good song but I would rather see them play The Wolf is Loose from that album. Same thing with Megalodon. I would much rather see Seabeast which is probably one of the better songs off of Leviathan. As for the Hunter songs, I think (and I know a lot of people that agree with me) that Curl of the Burl and Blasteroid are the weak songs on the album. I would like to see them play something els in their place like Stargasm, Octopus, The Hunter, Creature Lives, Thickening, the Sparrow, or even The Ruiner (which is better than half the songs that were actually on the album). Also it would be nice to hear Island since they haven't played it since 2005... All in all good set though and I can't wait to see you in Chicago.

Good set but why Dry Bone Valley first. Black Tongue is a better opener Dry Bone Valley should come later in the set. Also why are they only playing 2 Crack the Skye songs. I understand this The Hunter tour but only 2 CTS songs. They could easily play 2 or 3 more and take out Megalodon and Capillarian Crest. I know they're probably tired of playing CTS songs because they played the whole live for almost 2 years but couldn't they at least play 1 more song from it. I don't want to come across as whiney because this a great setlist and I'll be happy no matter what they play. Can't wait to see them in Chicago!

Why no Albuquerque for the tour? :(

Are they gonna play this entire list every night, or will the set list each night consist of songs from this list?
